Tetovo, Macedonia
Stone, Ground, Glass combines the rock walls of Kalaja e Tetoves, an Ottoman fortress overlooking Tetovo, Macedonia, with found building materials. The work was influenced by the massive construction efforts throughout Skopje and the resurfacing and obscuring of the former Yugoslavian architecture with mirror facades and fake neoclassical pillars.
Created while in residence at the Center for Balkan Cooperation LOJA in Tetovo.
Supported by the Goethe Institut Skopje, Macedonia.
